  • Have you ever wondered how wisdom teeth got their name? It’s because these teeth come in last, typically between 17 and 25 years old. This time period is sometimes referred to as the “Age of Wisdom”—hence, the name wisdom teeth.
  • Not every wisdom tooth has to be removed, although most will. In fact, nearly 85% of all wisdom teeth will eventually need to be removed.
